The 2009 -2010 influenza season is fast approaching so we thought it’s best to get right into information. The 2009-2010 flue season actually has at least two different flus floating around. First there is the yearly variety and second, the “Swine Flu” (sciientific name H1N1-09) variety. Information presented here generally pertains to both strains of the flu. Influenza (the “flu”) strikes every year and approximately 30,000 deaths in the United States are attributed to it. This year the United Nation’s World Health Organization (WHO) and many in the Obama Administration appear to be in panic mode over the possibility of a “pandemic” caused by the latest version of the “Swine Flu.”
