Health, like our environment, are serious issues and should not be hijacked by the vocal few hoping to capitalize on false fears.

mic. Many, including the United Nations, point to the 50-100 million dead from that tragedy as an example of what could happen this time around.
But research suggests that’s simply fear mongering at its best. According to epidemiologists at Emory University, the majority of deaths in the 1918 pandemic were from secondary bacterial infections such as the strep, pneumonia, and meningitis. Unfortunately for those involved, antibiotics and other antimicrobial drugs were not available in 1918.
In the current situation surrounding H1N1-09 (Swine Flu) many believe the current strain may be weaker than the ordinary flu.
